Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 3 tsp. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. and 1/2 tsp. flour
  • 1 1/4 c. warm milk
  • 1/2 lb. butter or oleo

Instructions

  1. Mix together yeast, 1/2 teaspoon flour, 1 teaspoon sugar and 1/4 cup warm milk and let rise to top of cup.
  2. Beat eggs and add 2 teaspoons sugar and 1 cup warm milk.
  3. Combine with yeast mixture. Mix 4 cups flour, 1 teaspoon salt and butter to make like a pie crust.
  4. Combine to the other mixture.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Cut dough into 4 or 5 parts.
  7. Roll out like pie crust. Spread with melted butter.
  8. Sprinkle cinnamon, brown sugar and nuts on it.
  9. Roll up like a jelly roll and cut half way through. Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour.
