A refreshing icy slush with punch flavor, pineapple and lemon notes, perfect for hot days and gatherings, enjoyed by all ages with a fizzy ginger ale twist.

Ingredients

  • 2 small packages jello (punch flavor)
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 can (46 oz.) pineapple juice
  • 1 (8 oz.) bottle lemon juice
  • 7 cups cold water
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the jello, boiling water, and sugar together.
  2. Add the pineapple juice, lemon juice, cold water, almond extract, and vanilla extract to the mixture.
  3. Pour the mixture into small containers and freeze.
  4. Set out the frozen slush about 2 hours before serving.
  5. Add two bottles (quart size) of ginger ale just before serving.
