Ingredients

  • 2-layer cake
  • frosting
  • 1 qt. unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/4 tsp. shortening

Instructions

  1. Bake a two-layer round cake in baking pans.
  2. Cool the cake thoroughly and cut each layer in half horizontally.
  3. Spread frosting on one side of three cake halves.
  4. Arrange the three frosted halves side by side on their cut edges, with frosting between to form a long, rounded shape resembling an igloo.
  5. Frost the remaining cake to complete the igloo cake.
