Ingredients

  • 2 lb. chopped stew meat
  • 4 yellow squash, sliced
  • 1 lb. fresh green beans or 2 c. cooked pinto beans
  • 2 ears fresh corn, cut in 2-inch pieces
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the stew meat in water until done.
  2. Add the sliced yellow squash, green beans or cooked pinto beans, fresh corn pieces, and red chili pepper to the pot.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 2 hours to develop flavors.
  4. Serve hot, preferably with Indian Fry Bread.
