Ingredients

  • 4 or 6 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 cans water
  • 1 can button mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Put rice, dry onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, water, and mushroom buttons in a greased 9 x 12-inch pan.
  2. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Brown the chicken breasts in oleo and pour remaining oleo over the rice mixture.
  4. Place the chicken breasts over the rice mixture.
  5. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
