Ingredients

  • 1 white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 large box Jell-O (any flavor)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake mix as directed on the box and pour into a sheet pan.
  2. Bake the cake in the oven until done, then remove and let it cool slightly.
  3. Punch holes in the baked cake using a fork or skewer.
  4. Mix the Jell-O according to the package instructions.
  5. Pour the prepared Jell-O mixture over the punched holes in the cake.
  6. Place the cake in the refrigerator overnight or until the Jell-O has set.
  7. Use a hot knife to cut the cake into slices.
  8. Top each slice with Cool Whip before serving.
