Jiffy Pineapple Upside-Down Cake *

Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 6 oz. can crushed pineapple

Instructions

  1. Mix 1/2 box of your favorite yellow cake mix as directed.
  2. Then melt butter or margarine in an iron skillet frypan; dissolve and pour mixed batter over pineapple and sugar.
  3. Cook in oven at 325° for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Cool a minute, run knife around side and turn onto large plate, so as to catch the juice from the bottom of the skillet.
