Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell with high fluted edge
  • 1 (No. 2) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 1/2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Turn cherry pie filling into the unbaked 9-inch pie shell with high fluted edge.
  2. Bake the pie for 15 minutes in a preheated 425°F oven.
  3. While baking, beat cream cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  4. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F.
  5. Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the cherry pie filling.
  6. Bake for an additional 30 minutes.
  7. Cool the pie completely.
  8. Spread sour cream over the cooled pie.
  9. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
