- Cake:
- Follow mix directions, except substitute 1/2 cup water with 1/2 cup rum.
- Prepare 2 pans by melting 2 tablespoons of margarine in each, then sprinkle lightly with finely chopped pecans.
- Pour half of batter in each pan and baking according to package.
- Cool cakes and prepare filling.
