Kennedy Beef

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean stew beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 1/2 c. red wine (optional)
  • 3/4 lb. or 1 can mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Cut beef into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Place in casserole.
  3. Add pepper. Pour mushroom soup over meat.
  4. Sprinkle with onion soup mix.
  5. Bake at 225° for 2 1/2 hours.
  6. Stir mixture.
  7. Bake another hour. Blend in mushrooms.
  8. Add wine.
  9. Bake another hour.
  10. Serve with rice.
  11. Serves 4 to 6 people.
