- Devein and shell the shrimp.
- Heat 1/2 cup water, 1/2 block butter, garlic salt, salt, and pepper in a pan.
- Add the shrimp; cook until they turn orange.
- Place cooked shrimp in a colander and rinse with cool water.
- Let stand for 2 minutes to drain excess water.
- Put the shrimp in a large bowl and pour kimchee base over them.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
