Ingredients

  • 1 small head cabbage
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup chopped apple
  • 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed

Instructions

  1. Cook the cabbage in boiling water for 10 minutes; drain.
  2. Arrange the cooked cabbage in a 1 1/2-quart shallow baking dish (10 x 6 x 2-inch).
  3. Combine the condensed cream of celery soup, milk, chopped apple, and caraway seed; pour over the cabbage.
  4. Arrange knockwurst between the cabbage wedges.
  5. Bake at 400°F for 25 minutes or until hot.
  6. Stir the sauce before serving.
