Instructions
- Mix in a large bowl 1 1/2 cups flour, 1/4 cup sugar, salt and dry yeast.
- Heat milk, water and shortening until warm (120° to 130°).
- Pour into flour mixture.
- Add eggs and beat with mixer at low speed for 1/2 minute.
- Continue beating for 3 minutes at high speed.
- Stir in 3 1/2 cups flour.
- Dough will be soft.
- Knead for about 3 minutes.
- Let rest 10 minutes.
- Shape with a dent in the center.
- Fill as desired.
- Let rise in a warm place, about 40 to 60 minutes.
- Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
