Instructions
- In bottom of 3-quart baking dish put rice.
- Layer with vegetables; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Add one 8 ounce can tomato sauce mixed with 1/2 can water.
- Add onion and green pepper.
- Top with layer of ground beef.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Pour over 8 ounce can tomato sauce mixed with 1/4 can water.
- Top with bacon strips.
- Bake covered for 1 hour in 350° oven.
- Uncover; bake 30 minutes longer.
