Ingredients

  • 4 medium Russet potatoes
  • 1/3 stick butter
  • 3 Tbsp milk
  • 1 c flour

Instructions

  1. Add mashed potatoes, butter, and milk together.
  2. Let the mixture cool.
  3. Once cool, add 1 cup of flour.
  4. Knead the mixture until smooth.
  5. Heat an electric frypan to 400°.
  6. Take a large spoonful of the dough and roll it out until it is flat and thin, but thick enough to pick up with a spatula.
  7. Fry the rolled dough dry in the pan, turning to bake the other side.
  8. Cook until the lefse has light brown spots, ensuring it remains soft and flexible.
