- Combine lemon juice, grated rind and milk.
- Add two egg yolks and stir until blended.
- Pour into crumb crust.
- Beat egg whites until stiff enough to hold a peak.
- Add 4 tablespoons sugar gradually.
- Pile lightly on pie filling.
- Bake until lightly brown, about 15 minutes.
