Instructions
- Soak lentils in water for 1 hr. Drain place in pan, cover w/water by 2" & bring to boil. Add salt & simmer 30 mins til just about tender. Cook onion (in fry pan) w/o.o. til begins to color. Add cumin & cinn. Stir, & add rice. Stir to coat w/oil & add water & lentils w/liquid plus s & p to taste. cook 45 mins (for brown rice)
