Ingredients

  • 3 c. water
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Put
  2. chicken
  3. in
  4. 12-inch
  5. Dutch oven. Pour water over chicken.
  6. Pour
  7. mushrooms, onion soup mix, margarine, salt and pepper over
  8. chicken.
  9. Bake with 6 coals on top and 5 coals on the bottom
  10. for
  11. 3
  12. hours.
  13. Replenish coals
  14. 1/2 way through cooking process or as needed to maintain even temperature
