Ingredients

  • 1/2 head romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 head other lettuce
  • 1 c. celery
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 large cans mandarin oranges, drained
  • green onions
  • 1/2 c. or more almonds

Instructions

  1. Combine lettuces, celery, onion and oranges in a large bowl. Heat and crystalize sugar and almonds.
  2. Pour out onto waxed paper. Cool and break apart.
  3. Add to salad.
