Instructions
- Combine first 5 ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
- Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly.
- Continue to boil over moderate heat for 5 minutes.
- Stir constantly while boiling, then remove from heat.
- Add chocolate chips or morsels and vanilla.
- Stir until mixture is smooth.
- Stir in chopped nuts.
- Pour into 8-inch square pan that has been lined with foil.
- Chill until firm.
