Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar with 1 cup of water and boil until syrup consistency is reached.
  2. Mix cornstarch with 1/4 cup of water and add to the syrup along with butter, stirring until thickened.
  3. Peel apples and cut them into one-inch pieces.
  4. Cook the apples in the syrup until tender.
  5. Transfer the cooked apples and syrup into a baking dish.
