Macaroni And Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 c. elbow macaroni
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo or butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz. cooked ham
  • 8 oz. cheese, grated
  • 3/4 c. fresh bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni as package directions.
  2. Drain.
  3. Make a white sauce of the oleo, flour and milk.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, macaroni and ham.
  5. Turn half the mixture into an oblong 2-quart baking dish.
  6. Layer with half the cheese.
  7. Add remaining macaroni and ham mixture.
  8. Top with remaining cheese.
  9. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
  10. Bake at 375° until hot and golden, about 20 to 30 minutes.
  11. Yields about 6 servings.
