Ingredients

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 stick oleo

Instructions

  1. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the mixture reaches medium-hard ball stage.
  2. Remove from heat and beat the mixture until smooth.
  3. Add pecans, if desired.
  4. Beat until the fudge begins to thicken.
  5. Pour the fudge quickly into a prepared pan.
  6. Cut into pieces before it sets too long.
