Maple Mulled Cider

Ingredients

  • 1 quart fresh apple cider
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 10 allspice berries
  • 1 orange, zest of, removed with a vegetable peeler
  • 1/2 cup dark rum (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, stir together all of the ingredients. Bring to a boil, then adjust the heat to simmer for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
