Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. maple extract
  • 8 c. your favorite Chex cereal (Corn, Rice and/or Wheat)
  • 1 c. honey roasted peanuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 225°.
  2. In open roasting pan, melt margarine in oven.
  3. Stir in brown sugar and maple extract.
  4. Gradually add cereals and nuts if desired, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated.
  5. Bake 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  6. Spread on waxed paper to cool.
  7. Store in airtight container.
