Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 1/3 c. cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Mix cornstarch with 1/4 cup cold water.
  2. Mix these and cook in double boiler about half an hour, then put stiffly beaten whites of 3 eggs and a little salt in after taking off the stove. Add maple flavoring.
