Creamy baked mashed potatoes with cream cheese, sour cream, and butter, perfect as a comforting side dish for family dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 5 lb. potatoes
  • 6 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 cup dairy sour cream
  • 2 tsp. onion salt
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine

Instructions

  1. Cook potatoes until soft, drain, and mash until smooth.
  2. Add cream cheese, sour cream, onion salt, salt, pepper, and margarine to the mashed potatoes.
  3. Beat well until combined.
  4. If the mixture seems stiff, add warm milk and beat again.
  5. Cool the mixture slightly.
  6. Transfer to a buttered casserole dish.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  8. Optionally, place dots of butter on top before baking.
