Ingredients

  • 4 lb. hamburger
  • 1 (18 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 4 c. tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger in a skillet, then drain excess fat.
  2. Add tomato paste, tomato sauce, garlic powder, and salt to the cooked hamburger.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 20 to 30 minutes to develop flavor.
  4. If desired, add water or tomato juice to thin the sauce.
  5. Divide into 1-cup portions and freeze for future use.
