Matzo Ball

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs sepereted
  • 1tes. Salt
  • 1/8 tes. Pepper
  • 1 cup matzo meal
  • 2 tabl. Melted margarine

Instructions

  1. 1. Beat egg whites until stiff .
  2. 2. Beat egg yolks untill light, add salt
  3. Pepper and melted margarine to
  4. Beaten yolks.
  5. 3. Fold yolk into egg whites fold in
  6. matzo meal one spoonful at a time
  7. 4. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  8. 5. Wet the hands and form batter
  9. into balls. The size of walnut.
  10. 6. Drop into rapidly boiling soup or
  11. water, reduce heat and cook
  12. slowly covered, for about 30 min.
