Ingredients

  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 c. whole kernel corn (frozen or canned), drained
  • 2 c. tomato sauce, divided
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 3/4 lb. ground beef
  • several strips bacon
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. In 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan, layer rice, then corn.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour on 1 cup tomato sauce mixed with 1/2 cup water.
