Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Blend in shortening with dry ingredients.
- Combine milk with yeast and add flour to make stiff dough.
- Cover and place in refrigerator.
- Make biscuits as needed. Put in cold oven; turn oven to 450°.
- Mix will keep in refrigerator up to two weeks.
