Ingredients

  • 1 stewing hen or beef
  • 1 large head cabbage
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • bay leaf
  • 1 pt. tomatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • salt to taste
  • dash of cayenne
  • 1 c. cream

Instructions

  1. All ingredients are approximate.
  2. Cook meat until tender; bone and cut up.
  3. Add to soup stock with remainder of ingredients, except cream.
  4. Simmer until done.
  5. Add cream and serve.
