Ingredients

  • 2 stiffly beaten egg whites
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites very stiff.
  2. Gradually beat in sugar and salt.
  3. Fold in vanilla and chopped pecans.
  4. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 275°F for 40 minutes.
