- Cut steak and peppers into bite size pieces.
- Cut onion into wedges.
- Cook onion in shortening until transparent.
- Set aside and cook peppers until tender; set aside.
- Brown steak and add ketchup and cornstarch, dissolved in water.
- Add garlic, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce and cook until sauce thickens. Add peppers and onion minutes before serving.
- Cook until thoroughly heated.
- Serve over rice.
