Ingredients

  • 1 lb brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups pecan halves

Instructions

  1. In large saucepan mix brown sugar, cream and butter.
  2. Bring to soft ball stage on thermometer.
  3. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Add pecans - stirring constantly.
  5. Drop immediately by teaspoon fulls on waxed paper.
  6. Let cool. Store in tightly covered container.
