Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 medium beets

Instructions

  1. Wash fresh beets well and remove stem and root ends.
  2. Place beets in a 2-quart microwave dish with water to cover.
  3. Cover dish with plastic wrap.
  4. Cook for 30 to 35 minutes on full power.
  5. When beets can be easily pierced with a sharp knife, drain and peel off skins.
  6. Serve whole or diced.
