Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp almond flavoring
  • nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grease a microwave-safe tube pan with shortening or Pam.
  2. Sprinkle nuts on the bottom of the pan, if using.
  3. Mix the chocolate cake mix, cherry pie filling, eggs, and almond flavoring well.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared microwave tube pan.
  5. Bake on High for 13 minutes in the microwave, turning the cake around after 7 minutes.
