Ingredients

  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 c. self-rising corn meal
  • 1 or 2 eggs
  • 1/2 or 3/4 c. mayonnaise
  • milk

Instructions

  1. It depends upon the size of baking pan you use.
  2. Mix equal parts of flour and meal for large pan (2 cups each). Add 2 eggs and 3/4 cup mayonnaise and enough milk to stir batter to the consistency of cake batter.
  3. Pour into a greased baking pan and cook in preheated oven at 350° until golden brown, about 30 to 40 minutes.
  4. You may substitute Pam to grease pan.
