Ingredients

  • 1 large angel cake
  • 3 half-gallon ice cream (may use different flavors)

Instructions

  1. Line a large pan or deep pan with aluminum foil.
  2. Slice the angel cake into small pieces.
  3. Line the pan with pieces of cake.
  4. Cover the cake layer with soft ice cream.
  5. Add another layer of cake pieces on top.
  6. Add another layer of ice cream over the cake pieces.
  7. Repeat layering with cake and ice cream until the pan is full.
  8. Pack the cake and ice cream layers tightly.
  9. Cover the pan with aluminum foil.
  10. Place in the freezer until ready to serve.
  11. Remove from the freezer, take off the aluminum foil, and turn the cake upside down onto a serving plate.
  12. Cover with whipped topping, slice, and serve.
