Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 (5 1/3 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 (12 oz.) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract

Instructions

  1. In a 3-quart casserole, combine sugar, evaporated milk, and butter.
  2. Microwave at 70% power for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips until melted.
  4. Add marshmallow cream and peppermint extract, beating until blended.
  5. Pour into a buttered 12 x 8-inch baking dish.
  6. Chill until set.
  7. Cut into squares.
