Ingredients

  • 1 small bunch mint leaves
  • 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. orange juice

Instructions

  1. Bruise the mint leaves, add the lemon juice, and let them stand, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Dissolve the sugar in water and boil without stirring until a fine thread forms.
  3. Remove from heat and add the mint and lemon juice.
  4. Add the orange juice.
  5. Cool the mixture and strain before serving.
