Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup mint extract
  • green food coloring
  • 2 (12 oz.) bottles ginger ale

Instructions

  1. Combine water and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
  2. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  3. Add lemon juice and mint extract to the syrup, then add enough green food coloring to create a very delicate green tint.
  4. Before serving, mix in the ginger ale and serve with or without chopped ice.
