A refreshing, bubbly mint sundae soda featuring mint jelly, sherbet, vanilla ice cream, and lemon-lime soda, perfect for hot days and fun gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 10 oz. jar mint apple jelly
  • 1/2 cup water
  • lime sherbet
  • vanilla ice cream
  • bottled lemon-lime carbonated beverage

Instructions

  1. Combine mint apple jelly and water in a saucepan.
  2. Cook and stir over low heat until the jelly dissolves.
  3. Cool the mixture, then chill.
  4. Pour about 3 tablespoons of mint jelly syrup into each tall chilled glass.
  5. Add a spoonful of sherbet or ice cream; stir until melted.
  6. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, then a scoop of lime sherbet.
  7. Finish with another scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  8. Fill the glass with chilled lemon-lime carbonated beverage, pouring carefully down the side to preserve bubbles.
  9. Garnish with lime slices and a sprig of mint.
