- Line two cookie sheets with foil and arrange the crackers in a single layer on each sheet.
- Cover the crackers with a layer of sliced almonds.
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a saucepan on the stove, melt the butter and sugar together and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Use a spoon to drizzle the hot butter-sugar mixture evenly over the crackers and almonds.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, ensuring the oven rack is set on the above-center position.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the counter.
- Carefully cut into pieces one at a time and serve.
