Morels in Marsala

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 cups Shallots, Finely Diced
  • 3 cups Morels, Cut Into Equal Sizes, Stems Trimmed
  • 1 cup Marsala Wine
  • 2 Tablespoons Parsley, Chopped
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. 1.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan.
  3. 2.
  4. Sweat the shallots until translucent.
  5. 3.
  6. Add the morels and sweat until partly soft.
  7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and add more butter if necessary.
  8. 4.
  9. Add the Marsala and deglaze.
  10. Let simmer and reduce on low heat.
  11. 5.
  12. Once the mushrooms are cooked through, season to taste and toss in the parsley.
  13. Serve over fresh pasta or on their own.
  14. Serves 2-4.
