Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 3 cups Bisquick
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the sugar, milk, Bisquick, and egg. Beat hard for 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in the chopped nuts.
  4. Butter the bottom of a loaf pan.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
