A hearty and flavorful deli-style submarine sandwich featuring layers of meats, cheeses, and crunchy pickles, perfect for a quick lunch or casual gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 submarine roll, partially split
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • lettuce leaves
  • 1 slice American cheese
  • 1 slice Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 thin slices roast beef
  • 2 thin slices ham
  • 2 thin slices salami
  • 4 dill pickle slices

Instructions

  1. Place the split roll on a plate and open it so it lies flat; spread with mayonnaise.
  2. Lay lettuce leaves on the bottom half of the roll.
  3. Place the American cheese halves on the lettuce with points extending outward.
  4. Roll up the roast beef slices and place them on the cheese.
  5. Repeat with the ham and salami slices, placing them on top of the beef.
  6. Top the sandwich with the mozzarella cheese slices.
  7. Garnish with dill pickle slices and sliced black olives.
