Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 can English peas
  • 2 packages chicken gravy
  • 1 package Pillsbury folded pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook chicken in a slow cooker until done. Cool before deboning.
  3. Reserve the chicken broth.
  4. Prepare chicken gravy according to package directions using the reserved broth.
  5. Layer half of the cooked chicken, drained peas, and gravy in a casserole dish.
  6. Cover this layer with one pie crust. Bake at 350°F until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and layer the remaining chicken, peas, and gravy on top.
  8. Cover with the last pie crust.
  9. Bake at 350°F until the crust is golden and filling is heated through.
