Ingredients

  • 6 large nectarines
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Puree the nectarines in a blender until smooth, measuring about 3 to 4 cups.
  2. Add sugar to the puree and heat slowly in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Stir in the brandy, lemon juice, and lemon zest into the puree.
  4. Pour the mixture into the canister of an ice cream freezer.
  5. Freeze according to the manufacturer's directions.
