No Bake Cherry Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded coconut
  • about 36 cherries (maraschino with stems)
  • graham cracker crumbs, finely crushed

Instructions

  1. In mixing bowl, blend sugar, butter, milk and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Stir in coconut and chill for 1 hour.
  3. Drain cherries on paper towel.
  4. After mixture has chilled, shape about 1 tablespoon around cherry.
  5. Leave stem showing.
  6. Dip in graham cracker crumbs about 2/3 from bottom.
  7. Refrigerate until served.
  8. May be made ahead and frozen.
